KB441346: MicroStrategy Library 10.x Table of Contents Panel is delayed when Dossier Grid is in Outline Mode

Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
SYMPTOM
Clicking the Table of Contents button to view all chapters and pages of the Dossier is slow to respond and the Table of Contents menu is delayed in rendering.
 

 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Create a Dossier with 5 Chapters & 9 pages in each chapter
2. Add 3 data sets
3. Create Grid with all attributes and metrics from one data set per page equally
   EG: Dataset 1 on page 1, dataset 2 on page 2, dataset 3 on page 3, dataset 1 on page 4, etc...
4. All grids in Outline Mode
5. Add to Library
6. Execute in Library
7. "Table of Contents" button is slow in rendering and response time
8. Swiping between pages and chapters seems to also affect this interface performance

 
CAUSE
This is an identified defect in Strategy when the table of contents button is clicked, a process is triggered in the background that is limited by the number of DOM elements on the page. When Outline Mode is enabled, the number of elements can be increased up to 8x causing the Table of Contents menu to be delayed until the process is finished.
ACTION
This issue has been addressed in 11.0.0 and later. Please upgrade to these versions to take advantage of this fix.
