SYMPTOM:
In Strategy Intelligence Server 9.3.x, the statistics logging option "Mobile Clients Manipulations" under Project Configuration -> Statistics -> General -> Advanced Statistics Collections Options -> Mobile Clients doesn't record anything in the Statistics tables. The Statistics logging option is as shown in the image below.
The Mobile Clients checkbox works by itself. If checked, it logs data to the table CT_EXEC_STATS AND CT_DEVICE_STATS.
The Mobile Clients Location checkbox works as well. If checked, it logs location to the above tables as well.
CAUSE:
This checkbox was put into place for a feature to be implemented but it has not been implemented in Strategy Intelligence Server 9.3.x.
ACTION:
This additional checkbox does not affect the working of mobile client statistics in Strategy Intelligence Server 9.3.x. This option has been removed from the interface in Strategy Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1.
