This document outlines five scenarios of session recovery.

Five scenarios of session recovery:

  1. User keeps the browser open, session times out, but Report/Document still shown on screen:  Prompt for login, then continues from there.

  1. Close Browser without logging out.  Open web before session times out.  After login, at the top of default page, there is a drop-down notification asking the user if they want to reopen their last Report/Document or not.

  1. Close Browser without logging out.  Open MSTR Web after session times out.  After login, in the default home page, there is no drop-down notification asking the user if they want to reopen their last Report/Document or not. (end users can access it from the recent)

  1. User manually logs out and returns to the Logout Page.  User clicks on Login. At the top of that page, there is a drop-down notification asking the user if they want to reopen their last Report/Document or not.

  1. User manually logs out, or gets timed out, and then they close their browser. Later come back to MSTR Web.  After login, in default home page, there is no drop-down notification asking the user if they want to reopen their last Report/Document or not. (they can access it from recent)
