KB441543: Five scenarios of session recovery
This document outlines five scenarios of session recovery.
Five scenarios of session recovery:
- User keeps the browser open, session times out, but Report/Document still shown on screen: Prompt for login, then continues from there.
- Close Browser without logging out. Open web before session times out. After login, at the top of default page, there is a drop-down notification asking the user if they want to reopen their last Report/Document or not.
- Close Browser without logging out. Open MSTR Web after session times out. After login, in the default home page, there is no drop-down notification asking the user if they want to reopen their last Report/Document or not. (end users can access it from the recent)
- User manually logs out and returns to the Logout Page. User clicks on Login. At the top of that page, there is a drop-down notification asking the user if they want to reopen their last Report/Document or not.
- User manually logs out, or gets timed out, and then they close their browser. Later come back to MSTR Web. After login, in default home page, there is no drop-down notification asking the user if they want to reopen their last Report/Document or not. (they can access it from recent)
