KB441876: In MicroStrategy Mobile 10.9, “Report Services Document Validator failed” error occurs when running an Object Prompted Report and not all prompts are answered

SYMPTOM:
When running a Report with one required Object Prompt and multiple optional Object Prompts, if not all Object Prompts are answered, the Report shows the following error message in Strategy Mobile 10.9 but runs successfully in Strategy Web 10.9:
 

Report Services Document Validator failed. Internal Error: DSSDocumentDataPreparationTask::Run(); Error evaluate views info, Error Code=-2147213350.”

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Follow these steps to reproduce the issue in a Strategy Tutorial Project:

1. Create a Report Services Document with one required Object Prompt, and two optional Object Prompts.
2. Run Report Services Document in Strategy Mobile 10.9.
3. Select an answer for the required Object Prompt.
4. Select an answer for both of the two optional Object Prompts.
5. Report runs successfully when all optional prompts are answered.
6. Run Report Services Document again in Strategy Mobile 10.9.
7. Select an answer for the required Object Prompt.
8. Select an answer for only one of the two optional Object Prompts.
9. The report errors out.

 
CAUSE:
This is an identified defect in Strategy Intelligence Server 10.9. This is not an issue from the Mobile client side.
 
ACTION:
This issue has been addressed with Strategy Intelligence Server 11.0. Please upgrade to this version to take advantage of the fix.
