SUMMARY
After setting OKTA configuration on Web Server, Strategy Web is using OKTA to authenticate users. However, after entering Okta UID and PWD, Strategy Web is returning HTTP 500 error.
CAUSE
The issue may be caused by incorrect base URL entered when performing the SAML configuration.
ACTION
SAML message intended destination endpoint xxx did not match the recipient endpoint xxx
This issue may be resolved by 2 modifications:
1. Apply the steps outlined under in the following documentation: https://www2.microstrategy.com/producthelp/10.11/SystemAdmin/WebHelp/Lang_1033/Content/saml_for_proxy_load_balancer.htm
2. Correct the binding URLs in SPMetadata.xml. They cannot contain an additional /saml/SSO.
