The following steps will remove the shortcut items on a Dossier:

Part 1 -  Removing the shortcuts from drop down on the toolbar menu:

• Launch the Web Customization Editor .
• Create a new plugin  and give it a meaningful name.
• Click on Strategy Web Configuration inside the Application Settings view to expand the hierarchical tree. The expanded list comprises the different settings that can be modified to perform customizations.
• Click on Pages to expand the list of pages used in Strategy Web.
• Right-click the Html5Vi(HTML5 VI Page) page and select Toolbars->Edit Toolbars. This launches the Edit Toolbars Wizard.
• Check the box for toolbar MojoToolbarModel.
• Click Next.
• Clear the box for one of the items.
  

• Click Next.
• Click Finish.
• Save your change and exit the WCE.
• Navigate to \WEB-INF\xml\blocks\mojo\ in your Strategy web directory and open the MojoToolbarModel.xml.
• Copy all of the file contents and close the file WITHOUT modifying it.
• Navigate to the custom plugin ..\plugins\pluginName\WEB-INF\xml\blocks\mojo\MojoToolbarModel.xml.
• Paste the copied contents.
• Locate the blocks for "Existing Dataset" and "Existing Object"

• Save and close the file

Part 2 - Removing the shortcuts from the DATASETS panel

1. In Strategy Web Customization Editor create a new plugin or use the same plugin created in part 1
2. Under Application Settings tab, expand Strategy Web Configuration > Pages > Html5Vi (HTML5 VI Page) > CSS > Customizations
3. Right click on Html5ViPage.css and select New Selector
4. For the Selector value, enter .alignBox div:nth-child(4)
5. Select "This Page" and Click OK
6. Double click on the newly added selector to open the Update CSS Property editor. Click Add..
7. For the Property value, enter display
8. Click OK.
9. For the Value enter none !important
10. Repeat step 3 and enter the following for Selector .alignBox div:nth-child(5)
11.  Click OK. Repeat steps 7 and 8 for the same Property and Value.
12. Restart the Web Server to apply and see the change
