Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
Symptom:
Some users may find after switching to a new data engine version the Dossier data produce is still showing old data.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a report (enable caching) with a derived metric "points baseline" as shown below
2. Using Workstation switch the project level setting to "Data Engine Version" to 11 (For more details on enabling the setting, refer to Change Data Engine Version)
3. Execute the report again and see the result not changed, while expectedly it should be
4. Drag out the derived metric metric, "points baseline" in this example.
5. Drag in the derived metric, "points baseline". You see the expected data
Cause:
Changing the Data Engine Version won't invalidated the cache automatically. To see the updated result, you can delete the cache or do some manipulation as above to trigger the report execution again.
Action:
No action is needed.
