KB44251: Error: "Failed to execute" caused when variable gets passed through directly as variable name instead of value when running parallel executing SQL statements in System Manager

Community Admin

• Strategy

SYMPTOM:

A user may encounter an error when running a workflow in Strategy System Manager when the workflow involves passing variables with parallel executing SQL statements.

In the example below, the variable '${LOOP}' is passed directly as text in one of the parallel executing SQL statements, but '2' in the other SQL statement.

CAUSE:

This is a known issue with Strategy System Manager 9.x.

ACTION:

Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on this issue.

WORKAROUND:

Make the SQL statements execute in series rather than in parallel.
