"Datetime field overflow. Unable to get catalog string" when changing a user´s password in MicroStrategy Desktop 9.3.x against a metadata hosted by a Teradata 13.10 instance

SYMPTOM:
In Strategy Desktop 9.3.x accessing a metadata hosted by a Teradata 13.10 instance, the following error message appears when changing a user's password:

ka04W000000OhTFQA0_0EM440000002JDV.jpeg

Database error <5>: Execute Query failed.Error type: Odbc error. Odbc operation attempted: SQLExecDirect.Datetime field overflow.Unable to getcatalog string.Database error <%1>: %2

Sometimes, the user's password alteration is saved with success; however, the error always takes place.

The entries below are appended into the DSSErrors.log file:

2013-06-19 10:24:14.559-03:00 Execute Query failed.Error type: Odbc error. Odbc operation attempted: SQLExecDirect. Datetime field overflow.Unable to get catalog string. Connection String: DSN=XXXX;UID=xxxx;. SQL Statement: INSERT INTO DSSCSCONTACT VALUES

Error type: Odbc error. Odbc operation attempted: SQLExecDirect. Datetime field overflow.Unable to get catalog string.

CAUSE:
The Datetime column was modified manually to Timestamp with (0) decimal place. By default, this column is created as Timestamp with (3) decimal places when creating a new metadata. Teradata can add decimal places to timestamp values but it cannot truncate them, so if the Datetime column is set to Timestamp (0), the referred error occurs.

ACTION:
Please, contact the Strategy Technical Support.
