KB44327: “Scheduled job is rejected. HRESULT=<0x80064855>” error occurs when running a subscription in MicroStrategy Distribution Services 9.x and 10.x

Maximum number of jobs parameter value from MicroStrategy Intelligence Server comprises the values of its sub parameters Maximum number of interactive jobs and Maximum number of scheduled jobs.

SYMPTOM:
Subscriptions are not sent in Strategy Distribution Services and the following entry is appended into the DSSErrors.log file:
2013-06-12 11:58:09.339-03:00 NCSRequest::Execute(): the maximum DS job is set as 0. Scheduled job is rejected. HRESULT=<0x80064855>.

CAUSE:
It is working as designed, the Maximum number of jobs parameter value from Strategy Intelligence Server comprises the values of its sub parameters Maximum number of interactive jobs and Maximum number of scheduled jobs, it means that the sum of these parameters should be either equal or lower than the Maximum number of jobs value. In this case, the Maximum number of interactive jobs value is defined equal to the Maximum number of jobs value, so the Maximum number of scheduled jobs value is defined automatically to 0, as shown:

ACTION:
The Maximum number of scheduled jobs value cannot be defined manually because its value is defined automatically with the value resulting of the subtraction from Maximum number of jobs minus Maximum number of interactive jobs. Therefore, define the referred values properly; for example:
