KB44530: Changes made on font size in the dataset does not get applied in Express mode of a Report Services document in MicroStrategy Web 9.3.1

SYMPTOM:
 
Changes made on font size in the dataset does not get applied in Express mode of a Report Services document in Strategy Web 9.3.1
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
 
Follow the steps below to reproduce the issue in Strategy Web 9.3.1:
 

1. In Strategy Web preferences > User preferences, change the language to Chinese (Simplified);
2. Create a report with any attributes and metrics and convert it to document;
3. In Edit mode, right click on the dataset, in Properties and Formatting > Font, set a larger font size for all objects in report
4. Run the document in Interactive mode and Flash mode, note that the font size is correctly applied, as shown below:

• Run the document in Express mode, note that the font size does not get changed, as shown below:

CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy Web 9.3.1
 
ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
