SYMPTOM:
In Strategy Web, users may place transaction items in an information window, like shown below:
However, users may notice that after hitting the Submit button, while the data is submitted successfully, the information window becomes impossible to close. Users may also notice that the position of the information window appears shifted from its original location.
CAUSE:
This issue occurs because the Submit button is set to target the entire panel stack, thus targeting itself, instead of just the actual transaction, like shown below:
ACTION:
Change the target of the Submit button to the actual transaction object. In the screenshot above, this would be the "Report Opportunities" grid. If the transaction objects are not a grid but are textboxes and other objects, place the transaction objects on a panel stack that does not contain the Submit button, then have the Submit button target the nested panel stack, like shown below:
