KB44601: "There is not enough data to plot the graph" message appears when a Combination Bar Area graph that contains only a single data point is executed in MicroStrategy Mobile 9.3.1 and 9.4.1 Update 1

SYMPTOM:
A graph with Graph Type Combination and Graph Sub-type Bar Area shows the message below when the graph contains a single data point in Strategy Mobile 9.3.1.
 

Sample Code/Error
There is not enough data to plot the graph
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

• Create a report with Quarter and Revenue.
• Create a document from that report.
• Insert a selector based on Quarter into the document that targets the grid.
• Change the grid to a graph.
• Run in Editable mode.
• Right click on the graph and select Format graph.
• Change the Graph type to Combination, sub-type to Bar Area as shown below:
  

• Change the selector to a single element. The graph renders that one point, like shown below.
  

• Run the document in Strategy Mobile9.3.x.
• After selecting a single element, the graph displays "There is not enough data to plot the graph.".

CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Mobile 9.3.1.
 
ACTION:
This issue is fixed in Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 Update 2 for iOS. Upgrade to this version to take advantage of the fix.
