In MicroStrategy Web 9.4.1 and above, an error happens when disconnecting or deleting intelligence server from Web Administration page as shown below: "Error saving the admin servers to the file: C:\Program Files(x86)\MicroStrategy\Web ASPx\WEB-INF\xml\AdminServers.xml"

SYMPTOM:
In Strategy Web 9.4.1 and above, an error happens when disconnecting or deleting intelligence server from Web Administration page as shown below:

Error saving the admin servers to the file: C:\Program Files(x86)\MicroStrategy\Web ASPx\WEB-INF\xml\AdminServers.xml

 
CAUSE:
One of the reason is the authorized windows user doesn't have write permission to the file of Adminservers.xml. In many circumstances, Strategy is installed by an administrative user. However the windows user accessing the Web admin page may not have write permission to this file.
 
ACTION:
Grant write permission to the corresponding user or user group:
