KB44989: Is it possible to keep track of users’ activities on exporting cached documents?

Is it possible to keep track of users’ activities on exporting cached documents?

SYMPTOM:
As KB20705 describes, starting from Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.0.0, Strategy provides an ability to track export jobs initiated from Strategy Web.

When exporting documents, Strategy inserts a non-zero value into the EXPORTINDIC column only if there is no existing document cache. Hence, currently it is not possible to keep track of users’ activities on exporting cached documents.

CAUSE:
This is a current limitation of Strategy Enterprise Manager 9.x.

ACTION:
This issue has been fixed in Strategy 10 GA. Upgrade to this version to take advantage of the fix.
