SYMPTOM:
When displaying a document in Strategy Web or exporting a document to PDF from Strategy Web, the font displayed is not the one originally selected or expected and size is larger, but this does not happen from Strategy Desktop in the Strategy Cloud environment.
CAUSE:
When executing a document from Strategy Desktop, the fonts installed in Microsoft Windows are used to render the document. However when executing documents from Web or exporting documents to PDF from Web, Strategy searches for these fonts in the Strategy Intelligence Server. Since the Strategy Intelligence Server in the Strategy Cloud environment is a Linux server, the Microsoft core fonts package is not installed by default. The reason for this is because these files require a license.
ACTION:
To use a specific font, place the font file inside the "Upload" folder from the Utility box in the cloud environment and contact Strategy Technical Support to request the files to be installed on the Intelligence Server.
