This article describes an issue when MicroStrategy Developer 10.x hangs and the error shows up

SYMPTOM:
When working with Strategy Developer 10.x, users might encounter the following error message:

Strategy 9.3 Desktop Files is not responding...

CAUSE:
This error may occur because of various reasong in different environments.
 
ACTION:
Since this issue might be caused by different reasons in different environments, users encounter this issue should follow KB38453 to create the hang mode Developer process dump files and send to Strategy Technical Support for analysis.
