Change preferences via Web URL API link

In some environment, it's not convenient to navigate to preference page to change user preferences. Strategy Web URL API enables to change preferences by URLs for certain preference settings. This is an example to change the Maximum rows in grid from 200 to 1000:


http://server/MicroStrategy/asp/Main.aspx?
evt=25003&src=Main.aspx.prefs.preferences.25003
&level=user_project
&maxRow=1000

evt=25003&src=Main.aspx.prefs.preferences.25003 is the event parameters. To change preferences the event is 25003.
&level=user_project indicated on which level to change the preference.
&maxRow=1000 represents which settings to change and the value of it.
For a different preference setting, please contact Strategy Technical support to confirm if the particular setting can be modified via URL API.
