KB45419: The Big Decimal data is rounded to 17 digits in Flash mode in MicroStrategy Web 9.x

SYMPTOM:
When users run the report services document in Flash mode in Strategy Web 9.x, the Big Decimal data which is beyond 17 digits is roundedto 17 digits.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

• Create a Teradata table and insert a column with 18 digits data.
• Create a Freeform SQL report, insert a metric and set the data type to Big Decimal (18).
  
  

• Create a report services document based on the report.
• Run the report services document in DHTML mode (interactive, express), the data shows 18 digits.
  
  

• Run the same document in Flash mode, the data is rounded to 17 digits.
  
  

CAUSE:
This is a known issue of Strategy Web 9.3.0.

Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on this issue.
