KB45623: The event evt=2048076, used to call a specific panel in a panel stack does not work with an information window in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.1

The event evt=2048076, used to call a specific panel in a panel stack does not work with an information window in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.1

SYMPTOM:
Technical Note KB42591 describes how to use a text box, shape or image as a link to display a specific panel on a panel stack inside the same document using URL API in several versions of Strategy Web. However, if the panel stack is being used as an information window, the URL will fail to trigger the information window; it will just not show up, in Strategy Web 9.4.1

CAUSE:

This is a limitation in Strategy Web 9.4.1. There is no URL event parameter to trigger an information window, thus the event used in the tech note above, which is used for "setCurrentPanel" is switching the panel correctly, but nothing is forcing the information window to pop out. An enhancement request has been logged to address this issue.
