SYMPTOM
In Strategy Narrowcast Server 9.4.x, when trying to set a Start date and an End date to a publication, the user runs into an error:
"The termination date for this service has passed.It will not run on a scheduled basis"
2. In Narrowcast console, create a Publication with any report in Tutorial. Choose execution locale as Spanish.
3. Launch Service(Editor). In Message Content tab, add the Publication created previously.
4. Switch to General Properties tab, define Start date 07/01/2014 and End date 19/01/2014.
5. Click Save and close. The message pops up:
CAUSE
This is an identified defect in Strategy Narrowcast Server 9.4.x.
ACTION
This issue was reviewed by our Technology team for feasibility and will not be scoped for a code fix in any upcoming Strategy release.
WORKAROUND
Alternatively, edit the Start date and End date in the Service Wizard, the message will not show upon saving the service
