KB45707: How to Remove the Compatibility Warning Prompt in Microstrategy Mobile iOS Application Using Microstrategy Mobile iOS SDK

The following steps illustrate how to remove the compatibility warning prompt in Strategy Mobile iOS application using Strategy Mobile iOS SDK 9.4.x/10.x.
 

• Open StrategyMobile.xcodeproj in Xcode.
   
• In Xcode, right-click the Custom folder under StrategyMobile and click Add files to "StrategyMobile". Navigate to StrategyMobile > Custom > MSTRCustomizations.plist and add this file.
   
• For Add to targets, make sure that both check boxes are selected—StrategyMobileiPhone and StrategyMobileiPad—if you intend to remove this animation on both devices.
   
• Add the following property in MSTRCustomizations.plist.
  Key: HideCompatibilityWarning
  Type: Boolean
  Value: YES
  
  

• Build the project to confirm that the application compiles and deploys successfully

 
For the sample to work, the correct version of Xcode and iOS SDK must be installed prior to compilation. Refer to the Readme documents for each release to find the list of certified IDE and SDKs for Strategy Mobile customization.
