The instructions are exactly the same between SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013, but with a few minor deviations. Please see the following Tech Notes for more information on potential issues with SharePoint 2013:

  • "stsadm is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file" error is observed when installing the MicroStrategy Web Part 9.3.x or 9.4.x for SharePoint 2013

  • Deploying Web Parts on SharePoint 2013 Causes the Warning "Solutions no longer support deploying Code Access Security (CAS) policy so any CAS policy specified in solution "MSTRWebParts.wsp" was skipped and not deployed" using MicroStrategy Web 9.3.1-9.4.x

  • The Managed Module dialog does not show the System.Web.SessionState.SessionStateModule when installing the MicroStrategy Web Part 9.3.x or 9.4.x for SharePoint 2013
