Starting with the release of Strategy ONE (March 2024), dossiers are also known as dashboards.
The following snippets demonstrate reading the difference between a dashboard (Dossier) and a document.
Using a RWBean instance, containing a reference to the object:
// RWBean rwb = (RWBean)bsrContext.getWebBean().getChildByClass(RWBean.class);
if(rwb==null) return;
System.out.println("Document Execution Mode is: " + rwb.getExecutionMode());
if(rwb.getExecutionMode()!=8){
// Perform action when the document is not running in visual insight mode
}
Using a WebObjectInfo instance, containing a reference to the object:
WebObjectInfo woi = wos.getObject(documentID, EnumDSSXMLObjectTypes.DssXmlTypeDocumentDefinition,true);
// See: https://www2.Strategy.com/producthelp/Current/WebAPIReference/com/Strategy/web/objects/WebViewMediaSettings.html#getDefaultMode()
System.out.println("getViewMediaSettings().getDefaultMode(): " + woi.getViewMediaSettings().getDefaultMode());
// document example: getViewMediaSettings().getDefaultMode(): 1
// dossier example: getViewMediaSettings().getDefaultMode(): 8192PREREQUISITES:
