SYMPTOM:
"Failed to create component ‘Analytical Engine Server’; CoCreate Instance Returned 0x8007007F" error message appears when creating a new report in Strategy Developer 9.4.1 as shown below:
Failed to create component ‘Analytical Engine Server’; CoCreate Instance Returned 0x8007007F
CAUSE:
One possible cause is some file in the Strategy installation folder is corrupted.
ACTION:
Perform a repair install of Strategy Software in the affected machine. If issue persists, please contact Strategy Technical Support for how to completely uninstall and install Strategy products.
