KB45926: How to display the minimum and maximum value selected from a slider selector with multiple selections dynamically in Report Services Document in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.x-10.x

The minimum and maximum value selected from a slider selector with multiple selections cannot be displayed as dynamic text in Report Services Document in Strategy Web 9.4.x-10.x
However there is a workaround  to use grids to display the required value as shown below:
 
 

 
Follow the steps below to display the minimum and maximum date selected by a slider date selector in Strategy Tutorial:

1. Create a document with a slider date selector and enable multiple selections for the selector. 
2. Insert two grids with the attribute Day and the grids are controlled by the slider selector.
3. Place the grids on each side of the slider selector.
4. Sort the grid in the left in ascending order by date.
5. Sort the grid in the right in descending order by date.
6. Format the grids to display only one row.
