SYMPTOM:
Importing a Shift-JIS encoded file fails with the following error:
Get Results failed: (Only UTF8/16 CSV or text files are supported. Save file as UTF or 16 codepage and import again. Error in Process method of Component: QueryEngineServer, Project PROJECTNAME, Job 2, Error Code= -2147212063.)
CAUSE:
This is working as designed. Encodings other than UTF8 or UTF16 are not supported.
ACTION:
Save the file as UTF8 or UTF16, and import it again. There is an existing enhancement request to support other encodings. Contact Strategy Technical Support for the latest status of the enhancement.
