KB45981: How to make the web server, mobile server and intelligence server use images from the same folder in MicroStrategy 9.x and 10.x on Windows

SUMMARY:
The following procedure describes how to ensure the web server, mobile server and intelligence server use images from the same folder in Strategy 9.x in Windows environment.
 
STEPS TO CONFIGURE:

• Get the path of images folder on the intelligence server machine. By default, it is C:\Program Files (x86)\Strategy\Intelligence Server\Images.
• Go to Internet Information Service (IIS) Manager and add a Virtual Directory, as showed below.                                         

• Set the Physical path to the path of images folder on the intelligence server machine. Type the Alias. Click "OK", as showed below.

• Browser the image folder in IIS and get the absolute address of the images by click on it and click "browse", as showed below.

• Use the absolute paths of images when applying them.
