QUESTION:
In Enterprise Manager 9.3.x, in the User/Session counts folder there are numerous metrics that calculate active users connected to the Intelligence Server. However, when looking at the description of these metrics, it can be seen that they provide information on concurrent users, not active users. Are the Active User metrics in this folder calculated by active users or concurrent users?
ANSWER:
All the active user metrics in this folder are calculated by the Minute Level User Concurrency metric, and will return information on concurrent users instead of active users. An enhancement request exists to have these metrics return data on users actively using the Intelligence Server only.

This is an open enhancement request. Currently this is still being reviewed for feasibility by our Technology team and is not scoped for any upcoming scheduled Strategy release
