KB46058: "The Web Server encountered an unknown runtime error" error message appears when users try to delete email addresses in MicroStrategy Analytics Desktop 9.4.1.1.

SYMPTOM:
 
When trying to delete email addresses from Strategy Analytics Desktop 9.4.1.1, users will encounter the following error message:
 

The Web Server encountered an unknown runtime error.
Cannot display page. Please contact your Administrator.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

• In Strategy Analytics Desktop, navigate to "Preferences".
• Select "Email Addresses" from the links on the left.
• Add an email address.
• Delete the email address, using the button to the right, like shown below.
   
  

• Users will be redirected to the following error page:

CAUSE:
 
This is a known issue with Strategy Analytics Desktop 9.4.1.1.
 
ACTION:
 
This issue has been addressed in Strategy Analytics Desktop 9.4.1.2. Upgrade to the latest version of Strategy Analytics Desktop to take advantage of this fix.
