SYMPTOM:
Starting with Strategy 9.x, it is possible to export individual visualizations in Visual Insight by clicking the dropdown arrow in the corner of a visualization and navigating to "Export", as shown below.
However, when a user only has the Web Reporter and Common Privileges privilege groups assigned to them, they are unable to see the dropdown arrow and thus are unable to export individual visualizations, even though they have all the requisite permissions, as shown below.
CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy Web 9.x. The use of the dropdown arrow for visualizations in Visual Insight is incorrectly mapped to the "**Web edit dashboard' privilege in the Web Analyst group, as shown below.
ACTION:
Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on this issue.
WORKAROUND:
Give the users the "**Web edit dashboard" privilege to have access to the dropdown arrow.
Note: This will consume a Web Analyst license.
