Strategy Web 9.4.1 developers might need to incorporate a URL API element in a Strategy Document to simulate the web back button.

This can be accomplished using URL API as explained below:

In this case event 3124 will be used to access the previous document using these parameters:

For ASP.NET:

Main.aspx?
evt=3124
&src=Main.aspx.rwd.3124
&relativePageNumber=-1

For J2EE;

mstrWeb?
evt=3124
&src=mstrWeb.rwd.3124
&relativePageNumber=-1

This link can be constructed in absolute syntax by adding the full reference to the Web Server:

http(s)://<Web-Server>/<Application-Context>/
