This knowledge base article documents why "Object with ID 'XXX' and type 56 (Drill Map) is not found in metadata. It may have been deleted." error message appears when creating a security filter in MicroStrategy Command Manager 9.4.x-10.x.

SYMPTOM:
When creating a security filter in Strategy Command Manager 9.4.x-10.x the users receive the following error:

ka04W000000OghfQAC_0EM4400000029Sr.png

"Object with ID 'XXX' and type 56 (Drill Map) is not found in metadata. It may have been deleted."

CAUSE:
In this instance, the issue was caused due to an incomplete project being loaded on the server.  The incomplete project can be found in Strategy Developer by trying to open each project.  The incomplete project will reveal the following message upon loading.

ka04W000000OghfQAC_0EM4400000029Sq.png

You cannot access project 'XXX' because it is incomplete. This can be a result of failure experienced during the project creation, duplication, or upgrade process.

If the incomplete project is unloaded from the server, the security filter is created successfully.
The main reason the incomplete project exists is outlined in the message above.  It can result from a failure during project creation, duplication, or upgrade.

ACTION:
Delete the incomplete project from the metadata for a complete resolution.  Steps to assist with deleting incomplete projects if any issues arise can be found in the following tech note:
KB12554: Deletion of incomplete projects in MicroStrategy Developer 9.x-10.x.

WORKAROUND:
If deleting the project cannot be accomplished at that time and the Command Manager action needs to be carried out, unloading the incomplete project from the server will also allow the Command Manager script to complete successfully.
Note: It is still not recommended to use this as the final resolution as the project is incomplete and may lead to further issues in the future.
Note: In this instance, the project the security filter was created against and the incomplete project were different. The project the security filter is being created against does not have to be incomplete in order to receive this error.
