SYMPTOM
When executing a report services document on Strategy Mobile 9.x application for iOS the following error message occurs:

Binary data structure is not correct

DSSerror log shows the following entry:

2014-02-10 14:47:22.166+01:00 Report Service document cache is not found.

Once the user clicks on OK and re-runs the document, it renders correctly. This issue occurs intermittently and only affects a single user at the time.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Execute a document based on an Intelligent Cube on Strategy Mobile. It generate a set of 4 caches on Intelligence Server of which one is the document definition cache:

2. Update the underlying Intelligent Cube. In Cache Monitor all data document caches have been invalidated, only leaving the definition cache:

3. On Strategy Mobile, reconcile with Mobile Server. The document shows as no cache available in the Strategy Mobile app:

4. When executing the document now, the error is displayed as no complete set of caches is available on Strategy Intelligence Server upon execution request.

CAUSE
This is a known issue with Strategy Mobile 9.x application for iOS that is caused by an incomplete set of document caches for Mobile executions. A mobile document creates 4 caches on Intelligence Server when executed by a Mobile user of which 3 caches contain data and 1 cache contains the document definition. The error described in this case occurs when data caches of a given document are invalided while the document definition cache still exists.
Document data caches get invalided when the underlying cube or report caches are being refreshed. In the following reproduction steps, the document is based on an Intelligent Cube. When updating the Intelligent Cube, dependent data document caches are invalided but not the definition cache which subsequently leads to the error described above. Once the first user has executed the document, data caches are re-created and no other user will run into this issue until the next cube refresh.
ACTION
This issue is fixed in Strategy Mobile 10.1 application for iOS. Upgrade to this release to take advantage of the fix.

WORKAROUND
Create an administrative subscription in order to automatically generate a new set of document caches after cube update.
