Gradient background style does not work in MicroStrategy Developer 9.4.1 and 10.x

SYMPTOM
For grid style reports, gradient background style is not displayed correctly in Developer 9.4.1 and 10.x.
Format Settings:

CAUSE
This is working as designed. Grid style does not support gradient in Developer. The first color is displayed in solid style. 
 
ACTION
To take an advantage of gradient formatting, execute the report from Web.
