KB46147: "This key is already associated with an element of this collection" error message appears when "List properties" outline is executed for an attribute in MicroStrategy Command Manager 9.x.

SYMPTOM:
 "This key is already associated with an element of this collection" error message appears when users execute 'List properties' outline for certain attributes
in Strategy Command Manager 9.x as shown below:

 
LIST PROPERTIES FOR ATTRIBUTE "<attribute_name>" IN FOLDER "<location_path>" FOR PROJECT "<project_name>";
  
CAUSE:
 
This issue may be caused by an inconsistency in the attribute's definition whereby some if its child nodes appear to be duplicated as shown below:

 
 
CAUSE:
 
This is a known issue in Strategy Command Manager 9.x.
 
ACTION:
 
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
 
WORKAROUND:
 
Remove the duplicated children from the attribute's definition and update the schema.
