KB46160: "Cannot find "file://mailto:xxx@xxx.com/". Make sure the path or Internet address is correct." error message appears when a user selects a link in a document exported to PDF in MicroStrategy Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1 Hotfix 1 and earlier version

SYMPTOM:
 
Any hyperlinks defined in a Report Service Document, either in text box properties or through the Attribute definition, when exported to PDF the following error message is seen:
 

Cannot find 'file://mailto:xxx@xxx.com/". Make sure the path or Internet address is correct 

• Create a blank Report Services Document.
• Insert a text box into the document.
• Edit the textbox and add a Hyperlink for mailto:support@microstrategy.com as shown below.
   
  

• Export the document to PDF.
• Click the hyperlink in PDF mode. The error message is encountered.
   
  

 
CAUSE:
 
This is a known issue in Strategy Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1 Hotfix 1 and earlier versions.
 
ACTION:
 
This issue has been addressed in Strategy Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1 Hotfix 2. Upgrade to this version to take advantage of the fix.
