KB46282: What happens to Personal View subscriptions after the user who created the subscriptions is deleted with MicroStrategy 9.4.1 and above?

QUESTION:
If a user is deleted, is the set of personal views created by the user deleted?
 
ANSWER:
Yes. Personal View Subscriptions behave similar to other Subscriptions. When the user is deleted, Personal View Subscriptions depending on the user are also deleted. That is:

• Create a new TestUser.
• Create a personal view Subscriptions by logging in as TestUser. Check "My Subscription" of TestUser.
  

• Login to Desktop Ad Administrator and check Subscription Monitor to confirm the subscription exists.
   
  

• Login to 3-tier project source as Administrator and delete TestUser.
  

• Check Subscription monitor and confirm that the subscriptio has been deleted.
