KB46408: In MicroStrategy Analytics Enterprise running against SAP HANA 1.0 SP7, ATAN2 function fails when used with the sum function over more than 200000 rows with the error "....Error executing physical plan: exception 6900:......"

SYMPTOM
In Strategy Analytics Enterprise 9.4.1, the following error is received against SAP HANA 1.0 SP7, when the report uses a metric which uses the ATAN2 function along with the sum function. This issue is only seen in cases where the table being accessed has more than 200,000 rows.

CAUSE
This error is because of an issue with SAP HANA 1.0 SP7.
 
ACTION
Follow up with SAP HANA support regarding this issue. The SAP support incident number corresponding to this issue is: Incident 232030 / 2014
 
WORKAROUND
ATAN2(n,m) produces the same result as ATAN(n/m). The issue is not seen when using the ATAN(n/m) function.
