"[Object variable or With block variable not set]" error message appears when simultaneously removing all Quarter attribute forms from Report Object window in MicroStrategy Report Services 9.x.

SYMPTOM:

In Strategy Desktop 9.x., when a user tries to simultaneously remove all forms associated with an attribute they encounter the following error:


Object variable or With block variable not set

CAUSE:

This is a known issue in Strategy Developer 9.x.

ACTION:

Contact Strategy Technical Support for an update on this issue.

WORKAROUND

To remove the attribute, right click only on the attribute name (not the forms) and select 'Remove from Report'.
