KB46434: Wingdings 2 and Wingdings 3 do not render correctly in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.1-10.x

SYMPTOM:
Users that attempt to use Wingdings 2 and/or Wingdings 3 in Internet Explorer 9 or 10, will notice that the characters to not render with the correct font in Strategy Web 9.4.1-10.x, even though the fonts are available.
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

• Create a document in Strategy Web 9.4.1-10.x.
• Add two text boxes.
• Configure one to be Wingdings 2 and the other to be Wingdings 3 and execute the document.
  
  

• Note: Selecting Wingdings 2 and Wingdings 3 will revert the text to the font selected prior to Wingdings.

CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Web 9.4.1-10.x.
 
ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available. However, the issue is currently not part of the short-term roadmap.
 
WORKAROUND:
Use another supported browser other than Internet Explorer 9 or 10.
