"Inbox message result is not ready" error occurs when executing URL API to display a particular layout of a document, in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.1

SYMPTOM:
In Strategy Web 9.4.1, a user can create a hyperlink via URL API to directly execute a particular layout of a multilayout document by using the URL format described in tech note KB42552: How to construct URL API to run a Report Services document with assigned layout in MicroStrategy Web 9.2.1m However, when using this link, even if the URL API is configured correctly, the user may sporadically experience the following error message:

(Inbox message result is not ready.)

As a result, the document is not executed with the correct layout visible. This issue may also occur if the document is executed correctly at first, but is refreshed several times.

CAUSE:
This is a known issue Strategy Web 9.4.1.

ACTION:
This issue has been addressed in Strategy Web 9.4.1 Hotfix 4. Update to this version of Strategy to take advantage of the fix.
