SYMPTOMS
When users run a Dashboard in Strategy Visual Insight, click on a point on a graph and select "Show Data", they receive the  error message:

"Failed to load object from XML"

This is happening when selecting one attribute of a hierarchy. It works fine with the other attributes of the hierarchy.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Create a report with Year, Month, Day, Cost, Profit and Revenue.
2. Create a VI based on the report and choose Vertical Area - Absolute as the visualization.
3. Click Show Data on the Day level. The error message "Failed to upload object from XML" displays.

ACTION:

The issue could be related to the fact that a wrong data type has been selected for the attribute. In this case, the ID form of the attribute used an ApplySimple to convert a DateTime into an Integer. The datatype of the column alias was still set to Timestamp.
Modifying the datatype to integer solved the issue.
