KB46779: Search box filter returns no result in Visual Insight when searching on attribute have multiple attribute forms as browse form in MicroStrategy Web 9.x

SYMPTOM:
Search box filter returns no result in Visual Insight when searching on attribute have multiple attribute forms as browse form in Strategy Web 9.x.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Follow below steps to reproduce with Strategy Tutorial project:

1. In Strategy Desktop, modify Item attribute, enable ID form as browse form for attribute Item;
2. Create an Intelligent Cube or report using Item and cost;
3. Create a Visual Insight dashboard based on above cube or report;
4. Add Item to filter panel as search box display style;
5. Type anything in search box, nothing being returned.

 
CAUSE:
This is expected behavior because currently in Visual Insight, search can only be done within one attribute form.
 
ACTION:
Modify the attribute to include only one attribute form as browse form.
