SUMMARY:
The prompt index is a list of available prompts on the left hand side of the prompt resolution page. When a user clicks on the prompt they wish to answer, it would normally scroll/jump to the prompt on the right hand side of the page.
Unfortunately, when answering these prompts when creating a Subscription, the prompt index does not perform this jump/scroll action. Users must manually scroll to the intended prompt by using the page thumb. This has been logged as a Defect with Strategy Web 9.3.1 and a fix is pending. There are no workarounds available.
This symptom is similar to the Direct Export action described in Technote 44355 "The Prompt Index in the prompts page does not readjust the position of the prompts when performing a direct export on a report in Strategy Web 9.3.0 Hotfix 3"
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Navigate to the folder containing a prompted report or document, preferably with 5+ prompts to display a long list of prompts
2. Click on the Subscriptions icon on the prompted object's row
3. Click "Add new Email Subscription" or any other Subscription type

4. A list of prompts will be displayed with a index on the left hand side. Click any of the prompt titles - there will be no scrolling or jumping to that selected prompt.

CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy 9.3.1 and newer.
ACTION:
This issue has been addressed with Strategy 9.3.1 hotfix 4 and higher. Upgrade to take advantage of the fix.
