KB46825: "java.lang.RuntimeException: Couldn't parse stream. in statement [xxx]" error occurs when running reports against columns of type AnyType from Salesforce in MicroStrategy 9.x.

When running a report that selects columns from a Salesforce warehouse that are of type AnyType, the error is thrown.

SYMPTOM:
When running a report that selects columns from a Salesforce warehouse that are of type AnyType, the following error is thrown:

Sample Code/Error
Error: QueryEngine encountered error: Execute Query failed. Error type: Odbc error. Odbc operation attempted: SQLExecDirect. ODBC Salesforce driver]java.lang.RuntimeException: Couldn't parse stream. in statement .

 
CAUSE:
This is a known issue in Strategy 9.x with Salesforce driver version 07.10.00.10.
 
ACTION:
Contact Strategy Technical Support for updates on this issue.
 
WORKAROUND:
Change the data type of this column from AnyType to another data type.
