KB46934: Reports created from a MicroStrategy Data Import Intelligent cube are hidden in MicroStrategy Web

SYMPTOM:
 
Strategy Web users will notice that when creating a report sourced from a data import intelligent cube the report will not be visible from Strategy Web because it has the "hidden" property enabled by default as shown below:
 

 
The report shown in the image above will not show in web and in desktop it will show as greyed out or hidden as shown below:
 

 
CAUSE:
 
The Intelligent Cube Report template has the hidden property checked by default. Therefore, any report created using this template will be hidden by default as well, this includes reports created from a data import cube.
 
ACTION:
 
To remove the hidden property from the template follow these steps:

• In Strategy Developer enable browsing hidden objects by selecting Tools>Preferences>Developer>Browsing and check "Display Hidden Objects" as shown below:
   
  

• Navigate to the desired project>Object Templates>Reports and right click the template "Intelligent Cube Report"
• Select Properties and navigate to General.
• Uncheck the "Hidden" property and click "OK"
• Create a new Data Import Cube or use an existing one to create a report and notice that it will now be unhidden by default.
