KB47032: ‘Express.xlam could not be found’ error message received when opening the Microsoft Excel after installing the MicroStrategy Excel Data Preparation Tool 1.0

After installing the MicroStrategy Excel Data Preparation Tool 1.0, the following error message is received when opening the Microsoft Excel: 'C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\suplementos\Express.xlam ' could not be found. Check the spelling of the file name, and verify that the file location is correct. If you are trying to open the file from your list of most recently used files on the File menu, make sure that the file has not been renamed, moved, or deleted.

SYMPTOM:
After installing the Strategy Excel Data Preparation Tool 1.0, the following error message is received when opening the Microsoft Excel:


'C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\suplementos\Express.xlam ' could not be found. Check the spelling of the file name, and verify that the file location is correct. If you are trying to open the file from your list of most recently used files on the File menu, make sure that the file has not been renamed, moved, or deleted.

CAUSE:
By default, the Strategy Excel Data Preparation Tool 1.0 is installed in the following folder when the Microsoft Office was installed in English: <Drive>:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns. When the Microsoft Office is installed in a different language, the AddIns folder can receive a different name, in this case, Suplementos in Portuguese.

ACTION:
Copy the content of the folder AddIns to the designed folder according to the language, in this case Suplementos and restart the Microsoft Excel.
