KB47059: How to use URL API to execute a document and show the prompt page with the default answers in MicroStrategy Mobile 9.4.1 - 10.x

Strategy Mobile 9.4.1 - 10.x developers might want to link to a Document or Report and show the prompt page with the default answers selected. This helps Mobile users have certain prompt answers pre-selected in case they are widely used.
 
TO CONFIGURE THE URL:

1. Event 2048001 has to be used to executed the dashboard as shown below:

2. Additionally the following parameter showPrompts has to be added with the value of 2 for a resulting URL similar to the one below:
   
   

   
   mstrWeb?evt=2048001&documentID=A1507518460F4FAB0E51D6A507549DC5&showPrompts=2

   
   
    
   &showPrompts=2 represents executing a dashboard showing the prompt page with the default answers chosen.

Default Answers can be configured when creating the prompt in Strategy Developer as shown below:
