A different color is applied to an HTML tag attribute form when locking document grid header in Express mode in MicroStrategy Web 9.4.1 and Presentation Mode in MicroStrategy Web 10.x

SYMPTOM:
In Strategy Web 9.4.1 and 10.x, a different color is applied to an HTML tag attribute form when locking the document grid header in Express and Presentation mode, as shown in the images below:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Create an HTML tag form with the following expression in an attribute.

    ApplySimple("'<a href=""http://www.Strategy.com"">link</a>'", 0)
    



  2. Create a report which contains the attribute.
  3. Create a Report Service document with the dataset at Step_2, and add the dataset to the detail header.
  4. Run the Report Service document in Express mode. The color (#25369E) is assigned to an HTML tag attribute form.
  5. Lock row/column header of the grid. Note that the color (#000000) is assigned to an HTML tag attribute form.

CAUSE:
This is a known issue with Strategy Web 9.4.1 and 10.x.
 
ACTION:
Strategy will continue to investigate and post updates as soon as they are available.
 
WORKAROUND:
Specify the font color <font color="#25369E"> in HTML code so that the same color is always displayed.
